Who are we ?

Founded in 1898, the Canton of Vaud Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CVCI) is a purely private – and therefore unsubsidised – association. It derives its resources from the contributions of its members, the sale of services and the various mandates it fulfils.

As a point of contact and mouthpiece for firms which support the principles of the market economy, the CVCI is a member of economiesuisse and the Swiss Employers’ Association. It also belongs to the vast national and international network of chambers of commerce and industry (CCI).

The CVCI is an independent association which gathers companies from all economic sectors and whose missions are the following:

    Economic and business development
Commit to the prosperity of the Canton and its inhabitants, by promoting the development of an economy that takes full account of economic, social and environmental issues.

    Political action

Defend and promote framework conditions consistent with the market economy, stimulating competitiveness, innovation, openness and economic and sustainable development.

    Services

Develop and provide companies with value-added services, useful to their business and activities, by being attentive and agile.

    Networking and brainstorming platform

Prioritize the quality of the network and exchanges in order to unite and promote business development, but also technological, economic and societal transformations.
